Liquid Tanganyika Buffer™ is a blend of carbonate salts designed to enhance the natural environment of Cichlids by increasing hardness, buffer capacity, and pH. It is formulated to maintain a pH of 9.0–9.4. For optimum replication of the Tanganyikan environment, use with Cichlid Lake Salt™ and Cichlid Trace™.

Sizes: 250 mL, 500 mL, 2 L, 4 L, 20 L

Use 2 capfuls (10 mL) for every 40 L (10 gallons*) until desired pH is attained. Thereafter, use as required to maintain pH. (Note: The 2 & 4 L container’s cap is 10 mL). Hints: Check pH after each dose to be sure you do not exceed your desired pH. If pH is exceeded, you can use Acid Buffer™ to lower pH. Works best when used in aquaria employing Seachem’s Cichlid Lake Salt™ (liquid or dry version). Final pH depends on the amount of Liquid Tanganyika Buffer™ used
