Oceans and Seas is a unique fish and reef supply store that has been serving the Detroit Metro are since 1972. We started in a small 900 square foot storefront and have moved two times to increase our business. We currently are in a 4,000 square foot storefront with an additional 4,000 square feet upstairs storage and breeding area. We offer over 7,000 gallons of saltwater and freshwater fish on display. The current owner, Brian Vansen, has owned the store since 1990 and has been an employee since 1978. The managers are Daniel Martin and William Leo, who have been employees for over 12 years each. 

We pride ourselves on our ability to obtain "rare" or "hard-to-find" species. Not only do we receive these rare species, but we also ensure their health (as well as other fish species) by placing them into our holding tanks.

What areas does your store specialize in?
We specialize in tropical fish, reef, reptiles and supplies. We have a huge selection of fish, coral, and other creatures for the marine and freshwater aquarium hobbyist.

How many years have you been using Seachem (personally and/or professionally)?
We have been proudly selling Seachem products since 1982 when Dr. Morin came to our store to expound the virtues of his new line.
