South
American Cichlid Salt™ is a chemically sound
blend of salts designed to replicate the natural environment
of South American cichlids (e.g. Apistogramma, Oscars,
Rams, Angels, Crenicara, Geophagus). It contains all
physiologically essential elements such as magnesium,
calcium, sodium, and potassium. It does not contain
harmful or unnecessary ingredients such as nitrates,
phosphates, arsenic, lithium, or cadmium. Use Seachem’s
South American Cichlid Trace™ to restore and
maintain important trace elements such as iron, manganese
and iodide.
Sizes: 250 mL, 500 mL, 2 L, 4 L, 20 L |

 DIRECTIONS:
Use 1 cap (5 mL) for each 80 L (20 gallons*)
when setting up an aquarium and when making
water changes. If you know the exact General
Hardness (GH) needed for your particular species,
then note that 1 cap in 200 L (50 gallons*)
will raise GH by 0.1 meq/L (0.3 dH). pH BUFFERING:
Seachem’s South American Cichlid Buffer
4.5+™ and South American Cichlid Buffer
7.0™ should be used to adjust pH. TIPS:
To add salt to an established tank, base dose
on water being changed. Do not use salt when
simply replacing evaporated water. (Note: The
2 & 4 L container’s cap is 10 mL).
