Hi,

I have a 55 gallon reef set up

I was told this is something I should test, and I just got it. I am confused with some of the steps. When I am done with step 5 (regents) I was getting a light blue which means none present.

1) is this what I want?

Then you do titration so you can match with the blue color on chart provided. Do you skip this part if it is already blue?

If the color is Blue at the end of step 5 than you have no strontium and don't need to titrate. If the color is pink or purple than you will titrate it until it turns back to blue. This will tell you how much strontium you have.

In your case you should add Strontium. If you feel that these results are inaccurate I would recommend running a reference test. If you get the given results than your kit is functioning properly and you do indeed have 0 strontium.
