I'm having problems with the Reef Salt not dissolving. I've tried water from 2 different sources because I thought that was the problem but I'm still having the same issue. I've been using Reef Salt for 9 months now and this is the first time the salt hasn't dissolved in 15 minutes or less. It's been over 24 hours and I still see salt crystals floating in the current of my mixing container. I don't know where to get help with this issue, so can you assist.
Thanks in advance.

Are you using RO water? If it is tap water, the water may be hard water and you could possibly be seeing calcium and/or magnesium carbonate precipitating.

Yes the water is RO/DI. I tried water from two seperate sources and ended up with the same results.

The undissolved particles are more than likely calcium carbonate. It is not harmful. Is this the same container/bag of salt?

I guess that mean the calcium is going to be low in this water. It's from the same container. I have to add that the salt was somewhat clumpy but it easliy broke apart. I'll go ahead and keep using it until I finish this batch.

The calcium should not be that much lower. From what you are describing it sounds like the salt was exposed to some moisture and the components from a solid particles that are not completely dissolving.
