I have a 3 feet tank overstocked with goldfish. It's properly nitrogen cycled, but de-nitrate cycle is still not ideal. I have added 1 litre of Matrix to encourage the growth of anaerobic bacteria, and tests the water's nitrate level every 2 days. The nitrate test kit was simple to use, but still tedious.

Please make "Nitrate Alert" meters to help me keep track of nitrate levels.

I'm using Ammonia Alert and PH Alert, they save me alot of time. Since there is no need for test kits, anybody, even the kids can keep track of the water condition in the aquarium. With a nitrate meter, anybody can keep healthy fish, no more guessing about to when do a water change, so please make one.

And if you do make a new product, where should I go to find out? May I know where's you product announcement URL?

Thanks for your time and thanks for making great products that change mystery to science for aquaria, so everybody can fun instead of worrying about the next little funeral.

That is a pretty complicated request. It would definitely be nice to come up with a nitrate alert. That is something we will have to look into further.

We typically show case new product on the home page, but you make another good point about having a page solely dedicated to new products.

Thanks for your reply.
I look forward to seeing new products from Seachem.

Btw, I just finish trimming my water-plants; they grew into a jungle thanks to Flourish Trace. I used to have to buy new ones every month because my goldfishes eat them, now they grow fast enough to keep up with the damage.

The Matrix filter medium has also kick in, reducing the nitrate levels. I've yet to draw up a water change schedule, but I believe I can safely and comfortably add a 14th fish to my collection. My shrimps, snails and ottos (the cleaning crew) are also more peaky. The system not only works well, its very robust and forgiving. Now I'm dying to get my hands on a bottle of Gold Trace.

Thanks again!

Glad to hear the nitrates are lowering. Since you are using Flourish Trace you do not need to use Gold Trace.
