Stability and UV's

Hi all,
Please can you help me, I have just brought a bottle of stability, on the bottle it says to turn off the uv sterilizer but it don't tell me when to put it back on again.
How long does it stay off and what is the reason for doing this?

It is directed to swith off UV sterilization units because they may kill off some of the beneficial bacteria found in Stability. The UV light should stay off if cycling the entire 7 days to allow bacterial populations time to establish. If your tank is estblished, the UV light should be turned off for at least 24 hours after dosing Stability to allow the bacteria time to settle or find a "home" in the tank like Matrix, the glass, the gravel, etc.
