hi,
I have a tank full of african cichlids and I cannot get the pH above 7.8. Does anyone have any information that can help? I have been using pH up and stability to help but nothing has.

We make buffers specifically for keeping African Cichlids. Depending upon whether you are keeping Cichlids from Lakes Malawi or Victoria or Lake Tanganyika, we recommend using either our Malawi/Victoria Buffer (will allow you to adjust your pH to 7.8 - 8.4) or our Tanganyika Buffer (will allow you to adjust your pH to 9.0 - 9.4).
