Does Prime Work Instantly?

I have a new tank that I want to move my fish from an established tank into and wondered if adding Prime detoxifies the new tap water instantly, or is there a period of time needed for it to react?

Yes; Prime works immediately on contact. Since you are moving your fish from an established tank to a new set-up, just be sure that the new tank has cycled (if not, you can always add Stability :-)
