Using Seachem and other products

If I'm using Seachem's Neutral Regulator in my tank or any other Seachem product, will something happen to my fish if I use another product like Ammo Lock from Aquarium Phamaceuticals to treat ammonia or any other problem or illness that might arise in my fish tank?

Does Seachem offer free samples of there products for aquarium use?

Be careful if you add several different products at once some of them can have reactions when used together. Neutral Regulator also binds ammonia. So if you use it with Ammo-lock on the same day than you can cause an overdose of reducing products, which can reduce oxygen. Ammonia binders are only effective for 24-48 hours. You can add them daily or every other day. You will still be able to test ammonia on a total ammonia (NH3/NH4) test but it will not be harmful to the fish. To see how much toxic ammonia (NH3) is in your aquarium I recommend our Ammonia Alert. It will read only the ammonia that can harm your fish. It will not read the bound ammonia or the non toxic ammonium.
