Hi, i am starting a 56 g malawi cichlid tank, just waiting for it to cycle before i get my fish (thats another question for your other board). Should i prepare my tank with your malawi products , before or after adding fish. because if before i must order products soon. Thanks Stuart Simon

Congratulations on your new tank! I would start buffering your water with the Malawi/Victoria buffer, so that it will be the appropriate pH when you do decide to add your fish. I would also go ahead and use the Cichlid Lake Salt so that the mineral content is where it needs to be, as this is extremely important when keeping Cichlids in a closed environment. You can probably wait on the Cichlid Trace until you get the fish, but honestly, you might as well order it with everything else to make it easier. :-) Trace elements are very important as they get depleted very quickly through utilization, oxidation, and precipitation, so it is important to restore them on a regular basis.
