When Prime neutralizes Nitrites---will they still show on test results?

Yes, you will get a positive reading, because they are still in the water, just bound as a non-toxic form. In 24 hours, the bond will break and the nitrite will remain, so the product needs to be re-dosed every 24 hous until the nitrite level goes down.
