i'm planning to buy two bottles of purigen for my 20 gallon brackish tank. two so that i can use the another one while recharging the used one. just a few questions:

1) can recharged purigen be stored untill used?
2) does the 250ml bottled purigen comes with any filterbag? because my lfs don't carry 'the bag' from seachem
3) my tank has 9 small guppies (understocked), fed lightly once a day(food goes into fishes' stomach instead of into the gravel), 30% water changes once a week with gravel vacuum. so around how long can the 250ml purigen last in my tank? nitrate currently at 15ppm.

thanks.

ok, i've found a local online store that sells emperor aquatics 12" x 15" 300micron filter bag. is this size good enough for purigen? thanks.

The recharged Purigen can be stored until used. Try to
keep it moist. If the Purigen dries, make sure to wet it
again. The 250ml bottle does not come with The Bag. You
can oder online from this link;
http://www.aquariumguys.com/bagseachem.html or do some
comparitvie shopping online. This is another link for
Purigen;
http://www.seachem.com/products/product_pages/Purigen.html.
Once, the Purigen changes in color to something close to
brown it is exhausted and should be recharged even if it
is before the six month period on the website. Some
systems may have more organics present than others and
Purigen may exhaust faster.

The Bag, a 180 micron bag, made by us is small enough mesh size to support Purigen. Here is an online store link that has the bag http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=5279&Ntt=the%20bag&Ntk=All&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Np=1&pc=1&N=62728&Nty=1.
