I have a 90 gallon with a 20 gallon sump. I purchased some MatrixCarbon and Purigen to use in a canister filter that I haven't used in a while, however the filter leaks very badly and I've decided not to use it. I have a spot in my sump that I can put the Purigen and get good water flow. I just purchased a couple of Nextreef MR1 reactors to use with my setup and wanted to know if the MatrixCarbon would work well in a reactor?

Hello bscardina,

Thanks for the post! MatrixCarbon works great in any type of filtration system and will be right at home in your new reactor. In fact, that is how we use it in our large displays here at the facility. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks for the rapid reply. I have always been a big fan of Seachem products and used them in the past. I just recently reconfigured my sump and that will allow the Purigen to work more efficiently and I will begin using MatrixCarbon in my reactor.
