The products that I would like advise on are:
Flourish comprehensive supplement
Flourish Excel
Flourish Iron
I have a 40 gallon tall planted tank, with community fish.
The testing I do are for:
Phosphates
FE Waiting on Seachem test kit in the male. (The one from Red Sea is garbage) Reads 0ppm even if I add 20ml of Florish FE to 1 gallon of water.
KH
GH
PH
Nitrite
Nitrate
What levels should I try to maintain for Phosphate and FE.
What would you recommend for a dosage of each of the products Florish, Excel, FE, and Comprehensive Supplement and how often.
What should I keep my FE at?
What level should the Phosphates be at?
I am adding CO2 to the tank with three Nutrafin Plant system CO2 generators and the CO2 levels are about 24 ppm.
PH is 6.8
KH is 5 deg or 89 ppm.
Phosphates .7 using your test kit.
Ammonia 0ppm
Nitrite is 0ppm
Nitrates are 10 ppm
Lighting is 140watts
Temperature is 78 deg. F
I did have a Staghorn Algae problem and it was cured by increasing my CO2 plus the addition of the Flourish Excel.
Please advise on a weekly or daily dosage of the products mentioned above
I also have a 30 gallon long tank with the same conditions.
This tank has about 90 watts of lighting
CO2 is closer to 30ppm
Ammonia 0ppm
Nitrite is 0ppm
Nitrates are 10 ppm
Temp 78 deg. F
