Substrate for Jawfish

Which substrate should I use for Jawfish? I like the Meridian Oolitic, but should I be concerned with the molybdenum levels? Is this something I will need to supplement in the tank anyway? Of all that I've read I've heard very little about molybdenum. I plan on having some soft corals and other inverts, all relatively easy to care for.

Re: Substrate for Jawfish

It is good to have a mixture of several different size grains of substrate for Jawfish. You can mix the Meridian and Pearl Beach. That would give a wide range of sizes.

Molybdenum is a trace element. It exists in natural seawater at 0.007 mg/L. As long as you use a trace mineral supplement like Reef Plus you will have enough molybdenum for your system.
