Can I store your products in a clear bottle?

Hello,

I buy the 2L size bottle of all your products but want to know if I can store them in clear dosing bottles. They are food-grade bottles so I think that should be safe and will not alter the product - so I am mainly concerned aobut the light. I keep the flourish refrigerated but the potasium, excel, phosphorous, iron and nitrogen I keep in clear dosing bottles next to my tank (air temp 70 degrees).

Is that ok or should I put tape around the bottle to block the light out?

Thanks

Flourish Excel is really the only of those products that is light sensitive; therefore, I would suggest trying to keep it enclosed and in an opaque bottle(taping the bottle should work just fine). The others are fine to store in clear bottles.

Great! I will do that. Is the product that I have in a clear bottle right now useless? Or just diminished? It has been in a clear bottle for 7 days. Does the brightness of the light or type of light matter? It just sees room light but not sunlight.

Since it has only been a week and exposed only to room light, the Flourish Excel should still be effective. We do recommend taping the bottle, though.
