Eleocharis ''parvula''

Dear Seachem,

My 50L tank has only 1 type of grass - Eleocharis ''parvula'' . Substrate is Flourite and I am using full line of Flourish except Nitrogen and Phosphorus since I think I have enough fishes. Currently the coverage of Eleocharis ''parvula'' is only 20%. I followed the suggested dosing chart and reduce the dosage by half. I think I will raise the dosage to 75% once the tank is fully grown. In your opinion, especially for Eleocharis ''parvula'', is there anything I should adjust?

Re: Eleocharis ''parvula''

Eleocharis "parvula" relies heavily on root feeding. Flourite should provide most of the nutrients needed with the doses of the rest of the plant line supplementing. It sounds like you should have a nice carpet soon.

Re: Eleocharis ''parvula''

Great. Aside from dosing Flourish, I also inserted 4 Flourish Tabs which should be enough for 24" x 12" bed. I put them closer to the corner area (2" from side and front/rear) rather than concentrate on center area.(small carpet was formed around center and I didn't want to mess with it) I was trying to cut each Flourish Tabs to 2 but however they are too hard.

Anyway, thanks for your advice!

The Flourish Tabs will definitely help. I wouldn't worry with trying to cut them in half. Good Luck.
