Cupramine

I was told by tech support that Cupramine will work on Gill Flukes but some fellow reefers are telling me it will not. Can you elaborate for me please?

Re: Cupramine

Cupramine works, however, it will take a long time (especially for flukes). About a month...

Treat the fish in a quaratine tank - it will cost less (cupramine) and be safer than dose the whole tank.

Re: Cupramine

RBU1,
Copper treatments can be used to treat gill flukes, but the success rate will likely vary depending on the species which has infested the fish. I would, personally, suggest using ParaGuard in a QT tank over copper treatment.
