cichlid trace mineral

Greetings from greece. i use the seachem products with great success and thank you for it. My question is if it should move the activated carbon before use cichlid trace. activated carbon absorb trace mineral?

Thanks for your question and support of our products! The quality of the carbon you are using will determine its impact on trace elements. If you are using Matrix Carbon, there is no need to remove it when dosing Cichlid Trace. However, if you are concerned that the carbon will remove the trace elements, you can always remove it for a couple hours on the days you dose the trace elements, just to make sure that they are not removed.
