Live Bearer Salt

I just purchased this online since I couldn't find it locally. I have a planted 65 gallon Pearl Swordtail tank that contains a couple Bristle Nose Plecos and a Clown Pleco. Is it safe to use this salt with these fish as well ? My plan was to use 1 tablespoon per 10 gallons, or 6 tablespoons.

Re: Live Bearer Salt

Thank you for your question. Live Bearer Salt should not have any negative affect on plecos. That said, it is always a good idea to add minerals gradually so the fish are not stressed by sudden changes and it is also a good idea to observe the fish for signs of stress. As with any product there is always the chance that an individual fish may respond negatively. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Re: Live Bearer Salt

Of course. I am planning on adding the 6 tablespoons over the course of 3 hours so so.

Thanks
